Injecting Betaferon® with the Betaject comfort®
The Betaject comfort® sets standards in convenience
Autoinjectors can help reduce injection site reactions and support users overcome needle phobia. The Betaject comfort® is specially designed as application support and is freely available to all Betaferon® users.
Useful features of Betaject comfort®:
- Facilitates proper injection site rotation even with hard-to-reach locations
- The advanced 2 phase technology follows the natural injection process very closely by automatically injecting the needle and then the syringe content
- Reduces the risk of accidental injections through a built-in safety lock at the release button
- Easy to grip and simple to use
- Bell indicates end of injection, thus ensuring that the injection process is fully completed before removing the injector
Preparation steps
• Twist open in the direction of the arrows.

• Insert the reconstituted Betaferon® syringe.

• Twist close in the same direction.

• Remove needle guard.

- Clean the skin at the injection site and leave to dry
- Gently place the Betaject comfort® onto injection site
- Stabilise with one hand
- Push in the green release button
- The needle and the syringe contents are injected automatically
- Wait for an audible signal
- Wait for another 5 seconds and gently remove the needle and Betaject comfort® from the injection site

• Reopen again in the same direction

• Remove the used syringe and discard into the disposal unit
• Gently massage the injection site with a cotton wool ball or alcohol wipe
