I’m 65 and waiting and wanting to know. I have many symptoms and MRI shows demylination. I haven’t had spinal tap yet but did way back in 1992-it was okay. Is it possible for a 65 year old to be diagnosed with MS?
I really have problems with vision--double, shadows on letters and color changes. While reading this site. the font is black but the letters turn/flash green while I’m reading it.
*Hi, I am 54yrs old and have been sick since I was 43yrs old. I am still waiting for a difinite diagnosis for MS. MRI shows demylination and I have all the classic MS symptoms including optic neuritis, neuralgia, bladder and bowel problems, use a stick to walk and have extreme fatigue and severe heat intollerence. Guidlines for age related diagnosis is between 20yrs and 40yrs. These are only guidelines and should not be "set in tablets of stone". My advise is keep on lookinf into your diagnosis ! Kindest regards, Mary. (keep in touch)
