All my test have come back negative but the symptoms have continued although not as bad. The neuro said wait 3 months and repeat MRI. Has anyone else had this? Do your symptoms come and go? Thanks Diane
If every test leads to it then why would they not diagnose you? My test come back negative but the md thinks they will come up positive later. He still believes that it is MS
I too have recently had another episode, been 6 months since my first and they ruled out Cardiac problems. I ended up in the hospital this time for 5 days because the left side of my face was drawing up. It went away and still no lesions. My PCP says it will eventually show up, I follow up with the neurologist in a few weeks. Hyperreflexia went away so she thinks the flare up is on the downslide now............
It is a crazy rollercoaster I have to admit. I’m taking copaxone at this point just in case I they prove I have MS, but I have no definitive answer either. One optic neuritis and no other exasperation. The good news is that if all tests are negative and you only have one episode you might have caught it very early and can keep the disease at bay.
Be sure they test you for lyme disease as well, this is very similar to MS.
