Six times yesterday I have had awhat I would call a dizzy spell for about 10 seconds at a time, most of those when I was sitting down and not doing anything much, I even had a dizzy spell whilst laying in bed anbeing woken by this spell........
I immeadiatly thought it was something to do with my blood pressure tablets...ie.low blood presure.....very worrying as it felt like that was my time up...........good job Carol was near at hand.
WENT AND SAW EMERGENCY DOCTOR WHO SEEMED TO THINK IT MAY HAVE BEEN LOW BLOOD PRESSURE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OK AT THE TIME.
Woke up the next day (which I even thought I might not) and went and saw my own doc but he said blood pressure is still a bit high keep on with the tablets and he did not think it was anything to do with the MS , he said it could be a viral infection which will clear in a couple of days..... result today is no more occurances so here hoping thats all over with....Still worrying
Perhaps its something to do with this hot weather we are having..........
Sill smiling Andy

Hi Andy,
Might be a middle ear problem, ever had your ears checked ? Bill does get dizzy, I think it’s the heat, and some of the meds he takes. I have Tinnitus,
( ringing in the ears) I can get very dizzy sitting down, or lying down, it’s scary.
I have had it for years, so I don’t get too shook up anymore. Hope it stays away for you. Say hi to Carol for me, take care, and as Bill says, keep laughing............Anne.

Hi Bill and Anne thanks for the reply and touch wood I have not had any more dizzy spells (yet) so hopefully there stopped......scarey thats all I can say as I thought my time was up, felt weird as I didn’t black out but I knew what was happening. Carol was within calling distance, I even was showing her what to do if my heart or breathing stopped , I was that worried.....but I’m still here and like you Bill still laughing (=: (do you like this little face on it’s side)
The weather here is heating up a bit around 31 C and I seem to be able to take it in moderation. Booked next years hol to Majorca for 2 weeks....why not.
Changing the subject ....How are you keeping Bill and Anne, I hope life is not to bad for both of you? Like you Bill I have a good wife who cares.....Take care both of you.
This new site is not as good as the old or is it still early days....? Andy

Hi, Andy. I agree, not as good as before. I tried to reply to you and nearly wiped out your post!!
With your dizziness, is it possible it may have been your eyes? I’ve had that happen probably 4 times in the last 4 years. My eyes have gone out of focus and it has the funny effect of feeling dizzy. Just a thought. How are you feeling now?
How do I get back to your post now? Might have to start again.

I’m back!! I’m convinced the person responsible for devising this site has definitely not got MS!!!!!!!!

Had an email from Mark tonight. Remember him? He has got a couple of theories up his sleeve and is working on them. He started to get a little less wobbly and went fishing with his Dad, fell over and broke his leg!! Getting a bit too cocky, I told him!!

I’d better finish, I can’t remember any more of what you said.
Talk to you later

Dear Kathryn,
Don“t worry. You cannot wipe out any posting in the forum.
Please click on one of the four discussion forums on the left in order to find all postings. They are all sorted by topic (General, Symptoms etc..). The list "recent messages" gives you just an overview on the latest postings which all can be found in the forums on the left.
If you want to answer to a thread (first post in a list) simply click on "reply" and your posting will be put at the end of the list.
If your answer refers to another answer in the list please click on "quote" and the text of the post you refer to is shown in your posting.
Hope that helps.
If you have further questions or remarks please do not hesitate to contact us (webmaster@ms-gateway.com).

Hi. I’m Cammie. I’m new to this site. Was diagnosed with probable MS in January 2004. My main symptoms are dizziness/vertigo. MRI and MRA show numerous brain lesions. Dr. gave me Klonopin and monthly B12 shots. Dizziness disappeared completed within a few weeks. However, I am now starting to have vertigo again. Not as severe as before, but still disconcerting.
