How does MS go about making someone disabled?

There are tons of books available in the library about MS. The answer to your question is not simple. I am recently diagnosed myself but from my reading, I understand that fatigue can be diabling. Temporary loss of vision and mobility can as well. Progressive disease can cause progressively permanent disability as well. Then there are the vision and bowel/bladder problems that are common. I know someone with super-mild MS and you would never know he has it. I also know someone who is completely bedridden now and can no longer communicate with it. Both were diagnosed years ago, before some of the new disease modifying drugs were introduced.
