I’m dealing with a situation and I feel that I am dealing with incompetent medical doctors. These past 5 months have been pure hell and ufortunately, things keep getting worse.
5 months ago (my 25th birthday) I had sever flu like symptoms, rash, diarreah, severe fatigue, etc. It passed and then left me with muscle twitches (particularly in the eye). I ignored that (because eye twitches are common) and soon started seeing muscle twitches all over my body.
I continued to ignore that until I was waking up in the middle of the night sweating, with a rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath.
Eventually, that went away and tingling started in my legs..which cause a lack of sleep for weeks. I went to the ER and I was told that everyhing is fine. A few weeks later, I started having involuntary eye movements in my eyes and realized that now, my eyes are no longer aligned with each other and my vision has been diminished (especially in low lighting) and occasionally blurry when I wake up.
I went to a doctor and was told that i need to do yoga, more sleep, blah blah blah. She took blood and told me that the results are normal (even though the ANA came back positive with a <1:40 titer- which seems vague).
A few weeks after that visit, the tremors began and increase after I’ve done a vigorous workout at the gym.
Now I have a combination of ALL of the aforementioned sympoma (tremors, tingling, headache, misaligned eyes, and muscle twitches and a droppy eye lid. I have yet to see a Neurologist to get an MRI due to a lack of insurance. Any advice? Does this sound like ms or anything you have experienced?
