01 - 13.02.2008, 07:45 I feel that drug addiction starts with experimenting. By experimenting, I mean this....an individual with no prior drug use has taken his/her first hit of of a joint. After a few puffs, he/she is high due to his/her low tolerance level. Over time, it takes more and more joints to get that individual high, their tolerance level has increased. Since they don’t feel the same "high" they once felt, they venture out into different drugs. Cocaine is next. That first hit has them trowing up, dizzy, and sweating, but after the initial pain passes, they feel good....they want more. They snort coc more and more over the next few months, but they need to snort more in order to feel high. That’s how we make crack heads, thiner tolerance levels or outta control, and they need huge amounts out drugs to make them feel in control. When it time to come off of the drug and break the addiction, the almost go nuts. That’s why crack heads going through detox be sitting in rehab sweating and looking weird. Their bodies have become accustomed to being fed this chemical each day, and the body and mind go through shock when it doesn’t get its food. My grandmother and aunt are both crack addicts to this day. I don’t know anyone who has overcome their addiction to meth treatment |
