i am afraid of getting ms but in fact if i have confirmed to have ms, i would rather relief. Due to several time of hospitalization, i would be confused by whether i got ms. before my 18, i got right side weakness and had repeated for several time during my 18 , together with blurred image for short period of time. At first, doctor had tried to whether i got this disease (the first time of MRI point out that some imflammation occured in my brain). They said i had ADEM. But later on, the condition was relapsing. And the the examination conducted are all normal, except some blood test. however, they are now thinking of whether it is derived from the excessive pressure i suffer from since they can’t find out the reason. they just told me to relax myself. after surfing different website related to MS, i do find out many similarities compared with my disease. so i hope to know I am now quite confused that is that related to my spine since i have only conducted mri with brain and blood vessels in brain
Look. MS is a unique in symptoms disease for everyone. I had lost my sight from the right eye and my eye doctor said that I was stressed and dipressed because of some unfortunate situations I was dealing with. The thing is that he was wrong. That was my first symptom. Then, I had severe headaches. I was feeling tired(but I thought it happened because I used to work 12-14 hours a day). A friend of mine who also has MS, had different symptoms. She wanted to sleep all day long. Whenever she was stressed, she lost her eyesight. But when she came over it, she could see again. That’s all she had. The MRI is a test that can show whether you have it or not. My first 3 MRIs were clear. BUT, the last MRI was different. It showed that I have MS. The difference is on the procedure. It could be shown earlier. I mean, when I lied down on the machine, the nurse injected something in me (I can’t translate it in English), and the doctor could see clearly. When I had the first ones, the nurse didn’t inject anything.... My advice is that, either check it out further or stop thinking of it.
thanks for your advice. It makes me much relieved. Do you mean that it is better to inject that radioactive material in the body. I got a difficulty that i am following up in public hospital where the fee is much cheaper but patients need a long queuing time (normally waiting for 2 yrs). Each time I went to emergency hospital. I need to wait for about one to two years for MRI. I know MRI is critical factor determining whether I got ms. But in private hospital in my country, it is extremely high. I can’t afford it. To me, answer is really important to me in this stage because I am studying and struggling for entering university. The answer will affect my decision whether I study for university or not. Since it is a very keen competition. Now, I am planning to earn some money for a private MRI test by teaching some junior form secondary school. In fact, i was a student having excellent academic result in form5. Only those who pass public designed for form 5 could continue studying in form 6 and I succeeded and worked very well. However, the symptons appeared at the beginning of form 6. Frequent hospitalisation made me able to follow our school syllubus so i decided to repeat form 6. Unfortunately, symptons still came out during my repeated form 6. I was quite frustrated with it but not my academic performance. To me, it is no longer important. Now I am not quite sure when I need to do one more MRI test. (In fact, I have done 3 times. In the 1 st test some dimyelating nerve was discoved and the second time they alleged that this was happened in the same area but smaller. And the third time, they told nothing but normal. (they didn’t inject anything to enhance better result). Only when I got weakened limbs of my right hand side, I would go to hospital. And I got many symptons like occasion flashing light in my vision, headache, some feeling like ant bite happening in my head and sometime at my limbs. Where should I do for MRI. Last time, MRI on brain and blood vessel were done. Is that neccessary to carry out MRI at my spine? Thanks everyone who read this article and help!!!!!
