I have been getting red circles/what look like bruises but aren’t. Does anyone else have this problem?? Also the new betaject light isn’t that great..a piece in it came loose when I injected. I have also had problems with the needles themselves. There is a part on the needle that twists and i have lost two needles now because it came undone inside the new betaject light. I only started having these problems after I started my full dose of betaseron, and when using the betaject light. I am curious how many other people are having the same problems.

Right now I have two big ones on each leg, one mark on my stomach, one big mark on each arm, and no idea what the butt looks like, as I dont have eyes at the back of my head, my boyfriend or mom do it...

Wont even look in the mirror, as i am tired of getting upset about them, they look horrible, and YES, I am grateful the marks are all over my body and not on my brain or spine (like my nurse told me), but they really look terrible, and last ages to go away, and by the time they do, its time to do that site again.

Not happy with this beta light, at least the old one, was more painful and MAYBE bruised, but those bruises certainly did not look like this! I think we have SO many other things to be concerned about, trying to hide all the marks on my body, even gets me more down.

Not sure what to do, just my voice or vote wont get the old one back, but maybe if other people are also having this problem, we will be closer to a solution. Hate ALWAYS whinning, but we are reminded of our problem ALL day long, we dont need to look at the ugly marks on our bodies, to make it worse.

Anyone else agree?

I thought that it was just me with this issue , because I’m skinny. I wonder if this is related or not.

No, I dont think it is because you are skinny, I also thought I was maybe aiming wrong or something, but I have been injecting for years now, if that were the case, i’d be really stupid! Its not the aim, its the injecting device.

I have been on antibiotics, because I have infected two sores, one on each leg, and that was a few months ago, STILL have the marks. Not red, but purple, I have the whole rainbow on my body!

When my nurse saw it, she said it could have been not cleaned properly before injecting, which is rubbish, I have tried it many ways and the marks just get uglier.

She told me to avoid my legs, and do my butt and stomach, which i did for awhile, but when sitting becomes painful or everytime you use your stomach muscles, (and hell, you dont think about all the times you use your stomach muscles, MOST movements ) then you know you need to find another way, im running out of places... and all the marks can prove it, healing time takes so long, you get to see, where you injected up to two months or more ago! (and so does everyone else)

And these marks are just getting uglier, thank goodness its winter, so I can cover. up.. everytime I do aqua, I have to quickly jump in the pool so people dont think im a battered woman! but, besides that, I wont be getting into a bikini anytime soon.

Sorry, im going on, but its different trying to explain to my family and friends, its so much easier, complaining to people, that know where I am coming from! I would love to have the old injection back, but, not to sure who I speak to?
