Hi
My name is Graham and I live in Oldham, a small town in the north west of England near Manchester.
I was DX with SPMS 7yrs ago which unfortunatly has become quite agressive.
I had an appointment with my neuro consultant about 2wks ago. Had steroid treatment recently and the neuro has made me an appointment with a nuero rehabilitation unit at Birch Hill hospital in Rochdale (next town 3 or 4 miles away). It has a specialist unit called the Floyd unit for neurological rehabilatation.
Wondered if anybody had been to this or any other similar type of unit.
Will I have to be residential or do they do it as an out patient.
Don’t know why but I feel very uneasy about this.
Any comments or advice would be welcome.
Regards Graham
